Gravity DMC Limited has been supporting the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) since March 2025.

As part of this engagement, Steve Riddell has been appointed on an interim basis to lead the Capital Development team until a permanent Director is in place. In this role, he oversees a team of 11 project managers delivering a complex and high-value capital programme, ranging from bespoke departmental fit-outs to major schemes exceeding £100m.

Steve’s remit has included strengthening operational procedures, providing strategic leadership across multiple large-scale developments, and supporting the successful delivery of key projects, including 35 Lincoln’s Inn Fields and 61 Aldwych. He has also played a key role in resolving project disputes and supporting a 2,000-bed Design, Build, Finance and Operate (DBFO) student accommodation development.

Operating within a complex stakeholder environment, Steve has successfully integrated into LSE’s culture and established strong, effective leadership across the Capital Development team. His contribution has ensured continuity, improved governance, and enhanced delivery performance across the programme.

Since March 2025, Gravity DMC Limited has provided targeted advisory support to CIT Group Partners LLP on Colechurch House.

Working closely with CIT’s inhouse team, Steve Riddell offered senior strategic guidance to secure planning consent and progress selected prefunding matters. Gravity’s involvement focused on delivering experienced, highvalue advice at key stages, complementing CIT’s internal capabilities to address critical predevelopment challenges and maintain programme momentum.
